EARTH FINAL CONFLICT OVERVIEW
Three years ago, Mt. Fuji in Japan started picking up radio transmissions. The same transmissions were heard in India, all across Central Europe, Asia, Australia, South and North America. They all said the same thing; "People of Earth, we are here to help. People of Earth, we are the Companions."
Seventy-one aliens calling themselves Taelons or "Companions" arrived and established diplomatic relations with every major world capital. Though physically different from human beings, they were not indifferent to our needs.
The Companions offered their vast knowledge of science and technology to help us solve our most oppresive problems. Famine became a thing of the past. Global divisions waned. They quickly became an invaluable resource to the world's governments and corporations.
Even still, there is a small group of individuals who believe the "Companions'" true purpose is a much more nefarious one. Their suspicions of the Taelons' advanced science and culture give rise to an underground resistance. And one man, Head of Interspecies Relations William Boone, will earn the "Companions'" trust in order to determine for the very sake of humanity what it is they really want.
